From the start…Plumbing Plus, previously known as Plumbco, was founded by Joe Christenson in 1984, as a retail store of fine plumbing products in Poway. Customers quickly began to ask who they could have these products installed by. It only made sense for Joe to branch off to service the parts he sold. With great integrity, Joe created what is now Plumbing Plus, a one-stop source for all of their customers' needs. The company quickly started installing fixtures throughout the home and continued to add services such as bath remodeling, water filtration, drain cleaning, and others.

Over the years, customers came back time and time again. Our red white and blue trucks were sprinkled over the San Diego area and soon Plumbing Plus became one of San Diego's most trusted Plumbing companies.

In 2001, Joe would hire a new shop helper. Michael De Silva started out cleaning the warehouse and assisting seasoned technicians at the age of 19. He became an apprentice and went on to become lead Plumber. In of May 2010, Plumbing Plus was acquired by Michael and Rachael De Silva. Michael with the help of his wife of Rachael, continue to run and operate the business today. We hold true to the values and traditions that have made Plumbing Plus a success and continue to please clients with nothing less than the highest standards of excellence and professionalism.
