Since 1984, Plumbing Plus has been honored to serve the San Diego community. From our humble beginnings as a local store offering quality plumbing products, we have grown into a trusted, full-service plumbing company in the region.

Founded by Joe Christenson in Poway, Plumbing Plus quickly made a name by offering quality products and dependable service. Joe’s vision was simple: provide customers with the products they need and the skill to install them, always with honesty and care. As word spread, our trucks became a familiar sight across the area, and our little retail shop evolved into a complete plumbing service operation handling everything from water filtration and drain cleaning to repiping and home fixtures. Through every step of that growth, we have stayed committed to integrity, excellence, and customer care.

In 2001, a young recruit named Michael De Silva joined the Plumbing Plus family at age 19. Starting as a shop helper, Michael trained under seasoned professionals, worked his way up to lead plumber, and learned the business from the inside out. In May 2010, founder Joe passed the torch to Michael and his wife, Rachael, who now run Plumbing Plus as a family-owned company. The De Silva values shape how every job gets done, and we treat our customers like family because this business is our family.
